About John

Hi, my name is John Nader and I am an award-winning photographer based in Houston, Texas. I am dedicated to helping couples feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera so that their photographs are a true representation of the love they have for each other. I have photographed both large and destination weddings, traveling all over the world and even photographing the first-ever earth-to-space wedding aboard the International Space Station! I believe that posing for a photograph does not need to feel awkward or difficult but instead can be a beautiful and meaningful experience to share with the people you love. After all, these are photographs you will cherish for a lifetime and you deserve to feel and look your best.

I learned the craft of photography from my father and became intrigued with the art of capturing a moment in time that can be handed down through generations. As I honed my craft, I learned that I love to photograph couples in natural light, in the outdoors where nature can work its magic and couples can shine among the trees, sun, and sky. I love to see couples have fun on their wedding day and feel whimsical and natural while I take care of the details and guide them to create amazing photographs.

I’ve received awards from the Professional Photographers Guild of Houston and I am a Certified Professional Photographer with Professional Photographers of America. I was awarded Wedding Album of the Year in 2009 by the Photographers Guild in Houston. I received the Wedding Wire Bride’s Choice Award in 2011 and 2012 and the Wedding Wire Couples’ Choice Award in 2014. But my biggest accomplishment has been the hundreds of couples who have fallen in love with their photographs and felt comfortable and beautiful behind my lens.

When I am not photographing couples during this extraordinary time in their lives you can find me playing flight simulators on my computer, decorating my home with fresh and modern ideas, or watching either a hilarious TV show that is sure to make me laugh or deep in a drama that has me captivated.
